Terms and Conditions - Lacking, To Say The Least

I get the Disney comparison and the charm of finding inspiration again. I get it... But the characters didn't.

Listen... I get it. I understand the appeal. The whole he's-bitter-and-she's-the-light-that-shines-in-his-world plot was cute at some point... But if I have to sit through another book calling the FMC the "sun" that everyone gravitates towards, I'll need to stop reading alltogether because its reading the same thing everytime. I'm tired of the obvious office romance with the strong and resilient heroine and the more-than-grumpy hero whose frosty heart slowly melts once he lets love into his life.
